Bound for India

Here's my current rough idea of the parts of India I'd particularly like to hit. I expect it to change dramatically as I talk to fellow travellers and add/drop locations, and maybe come up with a completely new plan. At this point, Nepal is fairly likely, as I'll almost certainly be passing close to the border, and it seems like an interesting week side trip.



Sri Lanka and Malaysia are a little less likely - it really depends on what reasonable flights are available when I'm ready to move on from India. I may want to stay as long as possible in India, and catch the last possible flight to make my connection from Bangkok to San Francisco (with a shorter stop in Taipei this time). I don't expect to see anywhere but parts of India thoroughly, but getting a brief taste of a couple other countries along the way might give me a good idea how much time I'd like to spend in them on a future trip.
