Made it to Indonesia

I haven't found proper internet here yet, but gmail using my Indonesian SIM appears free so I'll send a brief update.

I'm currently in Tarakan, a city of 100,000 on a little island just off Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo). It was an easy 3 hour boat ride from the last city in Malaysia.

As there's not a whole lot to see in this part of Borneo, I'm off to the island of Sulawesi this afternoon before heading to Bali in a few days. As a bonus, I get to visit 4 airports on my $100 flight this afternoon. If all those flights happen, me and maybe even my luggage will be in Makassar, Sulawesi tonight.

When I find a net cafe, I have lots more to share about the truly awesome diving around Sipadan. For now, you can take a look at my latest batch of photos, which don't begin to do justice to the beauty of the place.

I'm watching the Tibet protests in SF on CNN while typing this. What where they thinking holding the relay there?

Oh, and if anyone should need to reach me, my phone # for the next 3 weeks is probably +6281347497646.
